Congratulations to Gavin and Lisa!
Our journey began in a humble networking group a few years back, where Gavin and I first crossed paths. When the need arose for a maternity photographer, Gavin and Lisa turned to me, laying the foundation for a growing connection. Despite my initial reluctance to accept wedding bookings on Christmas and New Year's Eve, I found myself unable to resist when they reached out, this time for their wedding day set to unfold on the eve of the New Year.
As the clock ticked down to 2024, we found ourselves in each other's company, welcoming the new year together. It's these shared moments that go beyond a professional relationship and solidify our bond as friends for life. The magic of their wedding reception brought an unexpected and emotional turn when Gavin's sister stepped in for the mother-son dance. Witnessing Gavin's "breaking down in tears" response, I couldn't help but be reminded of my own parents, I found myself sharing a deep connection with Gavin at that moment.
In the midst of the celebration, our team joined in the joyous countdown to the New Year with the couple, their friends, and family. It was a truly remarkable evening, filled with laughter, tears, and a sense of connection that lingers as a cherished memory.
