Tri & Lanh

Engagement Session · Tampa Bay, Florida · 2021

Beach engagement sessions always look effortless in the final photos. Behind the scenes, Tri and Lanh's session came with a few surprises, mostly in the form of sand spurs that found their way into Lanh's dress.

With a little teamwork, a lot of laughter and a mobile changing station, we turned it into one of the most fun sessions of the year, just a few months before their December 2021 wedding.

A Florida Beach Session

The beach gives us soft sand, open sky and that golden Gulf Coast light that makes everyone glow. For Tri and Lanh, it was the perfect place to slow down before the wedding rush and just enjoy each other.

Makeup by La Vie Bridal

Lanh's makeup by La Vie Bridal was flawless and held up beautifully against the sea breeze and the evening humidity.

Sand Spurs and a Mobile Changing Station

Every beach session has its challenges, and this one came with prickly sand spurs. Between outfits, we set up a quick mobile changing station, picked spurs out of the dress and kept going. Tri and Lanh laughed through all of it, and that easy spirit shows up in every frame.

Why an Engagement Session Matters

An engagement session is the best warm up for the wedding day. Couples get comfortable in front of the camera, we learn how they move and laugh, and by the time the big day arrives, it feels like spending the day with friends.
