The Tampa Garden Club sits right on Bayshore Boulevard, with a lush garden lawn for ceremonies, sprawling oak trees for portraits and a bright, elegant ballroom for the reception. Just across the street, the bay and the downtown Tampa skyline make an unforgettable backdrop.
Getting Ready
Khanh's hair and makeup by Han's Bridal & Event Makeup was soft and timeless, perfect with her long sleeved lace gown and cathedral veil. Window light filled the room as her family helped with the final touches, and Sonny looked sharp in a white tuxedo.
A First Look Under the Oaks
Sonny and Khanh shared a first look in the shade of the garden's oak trees, a quiet moment before the celebration began. Then we walked to Bayshore for portraits along the balustrade, with the bay and the city skyline behind them.
A Garden Ceremony
The ceremony was set on the lawn with white florals lining the aisle. Flower girls led the way, and Khanh's father walked her down the aisle to Sonny as family and friends looked on.
The Reception
Inside, lion dancers kicked off the reception in a burst of color and drums. MC Dang Anh Tuan guided a fun and memorable evening, Frequency Sound and Events kept the celebration going all night and Hao Wah Chinese Restaurant served a delicious banquet. Sonny changed into a navy suit, and the two of them danced like no one was watching.
