The Morning Ceremony at Home
At ten in the morning, the families gathered at the bride's home for the traditional ceremony. The altar was set with red and silver, the tea set and gifts were arranged with care and both families welcomed each other in red and gold áo dài. Son and My bowed to their ancestors and parents, received blessings and exchanged gifts in a ceremony full of meaning.
Portraits by the Fountain
In the afternoon, My changed into her white gown and the wedding party headed outside the Milander Center, where the fountain, columns and trees made a beautiful backdrop. The bridesmaids in blush, the groomsmen in their sunglasses and a lot of jumping and laughing gave us some of the most fun portraits of the year.
The Reception at Milander Center
Lux Decor transformed the Milander Center ballroom into a breathtaking wonderland, with floral arches, glowing LOVE letters and meaningful decorations reflecting the couple's journey and cultural roots. Viet Taste provided a feast of authentic Vietnamese cuisine that added nostalgia and warmth to the celebration.
MC Nguyễn Khánh led the festivities with charisma, engaging games and exciting prizes that got the whole crowd going. After a first dance through a low cloud, Son, My and their guests danced the night away with light up batons and nonstop energy.
