A 2020 Wedding, Done With Heart
Two days before the wedding, Shayne called with news: the church was very conservative and would only allow ten people in the room for the ceremony, which meant only one member of our team. Luckily the church could project the ceremony onto a TV in the lobby, and one member of the wedding party graciously stayed outside, which allowed HĆ¢n to join as cinematographer. Every vow was captured on both photo and video.
Cupcakes, a Parking Ticket and a Happy Ending
Between the ceremony and the reception, we stopped by Swah-rey on Central Avenue for mini cupcakes, the couple's favorite. We arrived in a rush, skipped the parking meter, and came back to a ticket on the windshield. The city waives it if you spend twenty five dollars in the area that day, so of course we went back for more cupcakes after the wedding. The Pancakes n' Bacon mini cupcake was our favorite.
The Reception at The Birchwood
The reception at The Birchwood in downtown St. Petersburg was warm and joyful. Justine's dad cried like a baby, then showed off his sense of humor with a bucket of Coronas at the reception. After what felt like ten speeches, everyone enjoyed a little socially distanced dancing before calling it a night. And what a wonderful night it was.
The Vendor Team That Made It Happen
