The Morning Ceremony
The day began with a traditional ceremony under a sign that read Chúc Mừng Hai Họ, Lễ Thành Hôn & Vu Quy, celebrating the joining of two families. Kim and her bridesmaids wore blush pink áo dài, the groomsmen matched in soft pink, and the families gathered around the altar to honor their ancestors and exchange blessings. Trays of fruit, sweets and gifts were presented with care, each one carrying meaning for the new couple.
Between the formalities there was plenty of laughter, from playful moments with the bridal party to the couple sneaking a quiet kiss under the floral arch.
Portraits on the Lawn
In the afternoon, Kim changed into her white gown and we headed outside. The wide lawns and big shade trees at Bonaventure gave us room to play, with the bridesmaids in blush satin, the groomsmen in navy and a wedding party that was up for anything. Lai and Kim found quiet moments together between the fun, and those soft, natural portraits are some of our favorites from the day.
The Reception, Clouds, Cake and a Packed Dance Floor
Lux Decor transformed the ballroom into a dreamlike setting, with floral arches, a stunning cake display and an ambiance that perfectly matched the couple's vision. Viet Taste delighted guests with delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, adding a taste of tradition to the festivities.
The couple shared their first dance through a low cloud, and then MC Vi Tiểu Bảo brought the energy, getting everyone on their feet. Light up batons, wild dance moves and a wedding party that never sat down made this one of the most joyful receptions of the year.
