A Classic Riverside Venue
The day took place at the Garden Club of Jacksonville, a historic white columned venue on the St. Johns River with lush gardens and a light filled ballroom. It is the kind of venue that photographs beautifully at every hour, from bright afternoon portraits outside to candlelit details inside.
Portraits Under the Arch
We took Henry and Thy out to the garden for portraits beneath a greenery covered arch and along the oak lined walkways. Thy's gown and long veil looked stunning against the garden, and the two of them were relaxed and laughing the whole time.
The Reception
Inside, decor by Phuong Nguyen of LUX decor turned the ballroom into a bright, airy space with white and blue florals, candles and a welcoming guest book table. Dinner was a classic Vietnamese wedding banquet from Hao Wah Chinese Restaurant, and the room was full of toasts, laughter and family all evening.
