A Joyful Vietnamese Wedding in Tampa Bay
David and Angelina's celebration followed the familiar rhythm of a Vietnamese wedding: a morning of family traditions and tea, then an evening banquet with the people they love most. Both families showed up with so much warmth, and that warmth carried through the entire day.
Getting Ready
Angelina's hair and makeup by Nguyenduy Jinstar was flawless and lasted from the first portrait to the final dance. Even while getting ready, her excitement was contagious, and the whole room seemed to run on her energy.
The Tea Ceremony
The tea ceremony brought both families together for introductions, blessings and the exchange of gifts. David stayed calm and steady while Angelina beamed, and the elders guiding each tradition made the morning feel both meaningful and lighthearted.
A Couple Who Balance Each Other
What we loved most about photographing David and Angelina was watching how well they fit together. She lit up every frame, and he grounded every moment with a patient smile. Their portraits feel exactly like them, playful, warm and full of love.
The Reception, Music, Flowers and Cake
The evening banquet came alive with dinner from Hao Wah and Ben Quach, florals by Cindy's Floral and a gorgeous cake from Thuy Nguyen Cake (Banhan).
Ali Hoang did double duty as MC and singer, guiding guests through the program and then filling the room with music. The dance floor stayed busy, and Angelina was, of course, right in the middle of it.
