Tampa Garden Club, A Bayshore Wedding Venue
Tampa Garden Club sits right on Bayshore Boulevard with views across Hillsborough Bay, lush gardens and a charming clubhouse that works beautifully for ceremonies, tea ceremony style gatherings and receptions. It is one of our favorite venues in Tampa for Vietnamese weddings because it balances an intimate garden feel with plenty of room for big families.
In December the light is soft and golden for most of the afternoon, which gave us easy, flattering portraits along the gardens and the bay.
Getting Ready
Trang got ready with her bridesmaids before the ceremony, with hair and makeup by Han's Bridal & Event Makeup. Her gown came from La Vie Bridal, and seeing it come together with her veil and jewelry was one of those quiet moments we love to capture before the day gets busy.
Portraits by the Bay
Between the ceremony and the reception we took Bach and Trang through the gardens and out toward the water. These two are easy to photograph because they are completely themselves together, and it shows in every frame.
The Reception
The reception brought everyone together for a classic Vietnamese wedding banquet from Hao Wah Chinese Restaurant, toasts from family and friends, and a beautiful cake by Thuy Nguyen. The dance floor filled up early and stayed full.
